Graduates tell their experiences at the NTMA Training Centers:
Dear NTMA Students:
I choose machining because I wanted a good, stable job. This school provided
me the training to be a machinist. The instructors were great and the hands
on training helped me to understand even more.
Sincerely,
Jahaciel Usi - Now working as a Conventional Lathe Glass Blower
Dear NTMA Students:
One of the reasons I chose NTMA was to have a trade that I can apply out there
in this world. These days to have a job are pretty tough and without a trade
it is harder. With NTMA opportunities things open. You will go through some
tough times here, it’s not easy, nothing is, but here you get the right
training and great teachers to get you ahead.
Sincerely,
Antonio Ramirez - Now working as a CNC Operator
Dear NTMA Students:
I, Miguel Gaxiola, am giving you this testimonial to say that I got laid off
at work driving a forklift at a warehouse. I saw the training center on TV and
thought to myself that I should go to that school to better myself. I called
and then told my son that we are going to get training to get a job. It turned
out to be a good school. They have good teachers that take time to teach you
right. I learned a lot since I have been coming and with that I hope to land
a good job for me and my son.
Sincerely,
Miguel Gaxiola Sr - Now working as a Shop Helper
Dear NTMA Students:
I was sent here by my employer to get training as a CNC Programmer. I am very
thankful for the chance to make a career change from a scheduler to someone
who can make something. It was a hard schedule to complete while I was here
at NTMA. I had to go to work from 6am to 12:30pm and then drive from Orange
County to make it on time by 1pm. But it is definitely worth it. I am really
excited to work on CNC’s at work soon.
Sincerely,
Alena Oberg - Now working as an Operations Coordinator
Dear NTMA Students:
I hope you enjoyed your time here as much as I did. I can only hope when times
get hard you really stand up to the plate and hit what’s pitched at you
because we all know it only gets harder as the pitcher throws faster. Keep your
head up and don’t be afraid to ask questions, or even ask for help. The
teachers will do everything they can to help with what’s needed and that
goes for most students as well. Take all the knowledge you can and never let
anyone tell you that you can’t do something. You can do anything you put
your mind to. Mr. T says he is the best machinist and he is wrong because I
am, and should have this same mentality. Good luck and I hope for the best for
you.
Sincerely,
Jon Bricco - Now working as a CNC Machinist
